A large number of gold and silver pieces of jewelry that were kept in a small bag were accidently placed in a charity bag a number of years ago, (Oct 2018). The jewelry was belong to my mother who has since passed and it broke her heart that she misplaced them. They were of huge sentimental to her and also myself as I remember trying most of them on as a child and listened to her tell me stories about them. Items included a tiger eye gold ring, 2 large diamond twist engagement ring with a thick gold edged band, gold and silver charms, gold chain bracelet. I've been looking for years and checking with charity shops
Lost since Jan 2nd. In Rialto, Chapelizod, or Hartstown area - a small classic black jewellery ring box. Inside there are a few mixed items. Not of significant monetary value at all but huge sentimental value. It would mean so much to me if found + returned.

I am looking for a Ww1 victory medal that belonged to my great Grand father Thomas Gill. It has been missing for many years and might have been sold at some point. I would like to find it and reunite it with the two other Ww1 medals that belonged to my great Grand Father. I am willing to travel as far as it takes to collect the medal or if you would rather I would pay for postage so that is not a problem . Around the rim of the medal will be engraved Pte T GILL 6966 R IR RIF. Thomas Gill was born in Dundalk Co Louth in 1878 he joined the army in 1891 at the age of 13 and left the army in 1920. He was in the 2nd Battalion Royal Irish Rifles and fought in the First World War from 1914 to 1918. He was awarded the 14 Star, the War medal and the medal I am looking for the Victory medal. He died in 1951 age 73. The medal might not have the same ribbon shown in the pictures above but that is not a problem. If you have any information on this medal or even better have the original medal engraved with his name I will be eternaly grateful and I am willing to pay a good price for the medal. Thank you.
